Any luck obtaining your transcript from CDM institute? I need this to apply for the nursing program.

Enrolled in Jersey City, NJ CDM class for Medical Billing and Coding Specialist. The recruiter contacted me just up to last week to verify my attendance and method of billing.

Someth told me to wait until the day of class to provide the downpayment even though I initially paid 250 to supposedly hold my seat etc...

Showed up Jan.

28th for my first day to a locked door, no note or infoprmation re the program and No ONE ASWERS ANY OF THE PHONE NUMBERS I HAVE FOR CDM!!!!!

Talk about disappointed and out of money let alone child care expenses and wasted gas/parking! Trying to make a new plan now and it SUCKS :sigh

I was so excited about my education, finally getting a break after years of hardships. Then this, right before graduation!

I can't get any transcript of ever being a student there!? My teacher has worked for CDM forever and was amazing!!! I'm hoping to find another program so I can at least get a certificate of completion and take the NHA exam. NHA won't let me take the test without any records!!!

Please Mr. Miller, at least release our records.

Try being one of this mans employees. being led to believe all is well by the owner then the next day not only out of a job but also out of 3 weeks pay. the heartless coward could care less about people...KARMA!!!!!

i payed for my admission fees and my registration fees and now the school is closed down can some one here plse help me to link me to any one who can help me pay me back ma money plse i really worked hard for this money standing on ma legs for almost 8 hours to work is not easy plse help me i need this money back

This totally sucks, I am in the same situation as all of you. But that loan company said cause I was enrolled I didn't owe them any more cause I did not finish. Now I'm just out the cash I paid the school already.

I was a self paid student who is fightng for my money back. I wrote letters to numerous news station, my congressmen, criminal justice.

What this school has done to us is uncalled for.

I hope everyone will do the same.

Do not let this man get away with this. How can he sleep at night knowing the damage he has done for the students.

I can't believe this! I went to this school at the Wayne Campus and graduated in DEC.

I took my NHA test and got my certificate. OMG I feel so bad for my friends that were a month behind me to graduate. Some were supposed to graduate this past friday.

I am still in shock!! I hope you all fight this!!

As an employee that just lost their job there, I can 100% verify this. I was away dealing with a death in the family and the day before I was supposed to go back in to work, I was told by a co-worker that they had gotten rid of my position at all locations and fired some people.

They never once got ahold of me while I was away to let me know what was going on and still have not responded to me.

They have not paid their employees for at least a month and owe most of them at least $3000. I thought Mark Miller was a nice man while I was employed with the company, but towards the end and especially now, I can tell you he is a shady individual who obviously does not care about the effects he has on thousands of peoples lives.

I was an instructor at one of the other CDM campuses and we waited all day for our checks. Finally, in the afternoon we were told the school is closed.

Yes, I am considering legal action. Also I have now read the state has begun an investigation.

Hey pissed off, we are also soooo pissed off , I started a Facebook page as CDM students and employees if you want to check it out. We were attending the Medical Billing and Coding classes ,we were 2 days from getting our certificates when we were told the samething !

Some people have contacted the media !!!

I have a quick question I was about to enrolled with CDM but they closes I didnt signed anything but that private loan paper to see if a was approve for a loan. I was approve for the loan.

But I dont know if I have to pay that loan or it does count since I didnt register with them?

Now am worry to see If I have a loan out there that I have to pay!! Please does anyone know the name of the private loan company they use so I can call them?

I have been an instructor at CDM for about two years, teaching Bookkeeping & Computerized Accounting day and evening classes at both Jersey City and Wayne.

This past Wednesday afternoon, 1/23, I was preparing to leave one of my other jobs to head for Journal Square to do my evening class. I was upset because I had not received my paycheck that was expecting the day before, but was shocked when I got a short e-mail from the Director of Education informing me simply that the school was now officially closed, W-2 Forms would be sent out by month-end, and that the last official day of employment was January 1st. I was also told that any further questions were to be directed to Mark Miller, the school's owner. I immediately contacted the students in my class who I knew would be on their way to school shortly. I simply told them that class was cancelled for that night since I really didn't know what was happening or why; I intended to call them again the next day when I hoped I had some information to give them. CDM never notified the students, not even a note on the door! I have received no further information from any "authority" of the school - no instructions of how to help the students, close the campus, what recourse the students and staff might have....not a word. My students had two-and-a-half weeks left to complete the course. It's been frightening, frustrating, and infuriating!

Although I was not happy with the way the school was managed and had my concerns, I truly had no idea that the end was that close or that it would be handled in such a manner. While the school did not always fulfill promises made to the students or instructors, I can say in clear conscience that I always went above and beyond what was required of me regarding not only my students, but those in other classes as well. I am confident that my students were taught all they expected and more!

I hope we are able to resolve this mess in a way to allow students and staff to move on quickly and completely towards the goals we've all been working so hard to achieve.

as a former instructor at CDM i can tell you that none of the staff knew anything about this and we all feel terrible for the students.
